We are a small bakery based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, with over 30 years of baking experience behind us.

The business was originally established in 1994 when the previous owners took over Mr Crusty Bakery in Selby, North Yorkshire, where they developed their baking skills and built a reputation for quality homemade products. In 2006, the bakery moved to West Yorkshire, becoming well known across local markets before opening a successful shop in Castleford, West Yorkshire, which operated from 2011 until 2022.

Today, the bakery is under new management, and I am proud to be continuing the strong reputation and traditions the business has built over the years. Having learned from the experienced family behind the bakery, I am committed to maintaining the same high standards, quality ingredients, and homemade approach that customers have come to know and trust, while also bringing fresh ideas and a modern direction to the business.

We now operate mainly online and also offer local collection from our bakery in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Orders can be placed through our website, eBay shop, or by arranging local collection (payment required at the time of purchase).

We specialise in freshly baked cakes, slices, scones, fruit pies, crumbles, savoury pies, and quiches — all made using the best ingredients we can source. Quality and customer satisfaction remain at the heart of everything we do.
